Cash Register Start

Describes the cash register start process in POS Core, from cashier sign-in to change registration.

The POS start is initiated using the Start button.

Cashier Sign-In

First, the cashier must identify themselves by entering the relevant cashier code.

If the cashier code is not known, it can be searched for and selected using the magnifying glass button.

If a password has been stored for the cashier, it is then requested in the input field.

Change Registration

The change amount must now be entered, meaning the amount that is in the cash drawer at the start of the shift. This is entered either as an amount in the input field or as a denomination in a separate screen, depending on the setting in the POS setup.

The entered cashier and stored change amount are visible in the information field.

Both entries can also be corrected later using the relevant buttons.

If all entries are correct, checkout can be started with POS Start. Note: The cashier can be changed at any time via the Function menu, but change registration is no longer possible from this point on.
