Overview of Mobile Inventory.

This guide walks you through the key processes and functions of the BE-terna Reactor Mobile Inventory app. The app is designed to simplify warehouse operations, manage stock efficiently, and improve accuracy through mobile scanning.

Setting up the module

To use the module, you need our Reactor Client and the BE-terna Reactor Platform Core app (AppSource). Please refer to the help page in the BE-terna Reactor Platform Core app AppSource listing to obtain and install the client, or contact us if you need assistance.

To use the module, add it from AppSource to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment. You can then adapt the app to your needs. Search for “BE-Mobile Fusion Setup” in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and use the settings in the “Warehouse” FastTab.

Main modules and processes

Transfer

This module helps manage direct transfers, either with warehouse aids / industrial trucks or through direct movements.

Transfer with warehouse aids

Functions designed for two-step direct transfers via an intermediate bin / interim storage location (warehouse aid). This is ideal for moving lots and for temporary storage.

Linked bin

Purpose: Use an intermediate bin for temporary storage when transferring items. This bin represents the warehouse aid, such as a pallet truck with pallets.

Steps:

Assign an intermediate bin code that is linked to a specific warehouse aid. Use this bin for pick-up or put-away activities.

Pick-up

Purpose: Move items to an intermediate bin / warehouse aid, such as a pallet truck or forklift.

Steps:

Scan or enter the source bin. Confirm the item and the quantity to transfer.

Put-away

Purpose: Transfer items from the intermediate bin to their final destination.

Steps:

Select the item and quantity to put away. Scan or enter the destination bin.

Direct transfer

Used for fast, direct movements between bins without temporary storage.

Pick

Purpose: Pick items for transfer to a destination bin.

Steps:

Scan or enter the destination bin. Confirm the items and quantities to transfer. Scan or enter the source bin.

Put

Purpose: Move items to a destination bin.

Steps:

Scan or enter the source bin. Confirm the items and quantities to transfer. Scan or enter the destination bin.

Complete bin transfer

Purpose: Directly transfer the entire contents of one bin to another bin.

Steps:

Scan or enter the source bin. Scan or enter the destination bin. Confirm the transfer of all contents.

Item inquiry

Quick access to item information, including bin stock and details about expected inbound goods.

Steps:

Scan the item barcode or enter the item number manually. Display detailed item information, including:

Item number, variant, and description Item image (if available) Current quantities in the bins Ordered quantity and expected receipt date Detailed item tracking information (if available)

Bin contents

Check the contents of specific bins and their stock levels.

Steps:

Scan the bin code or enter it manually. Display detailed information, including:

Item number, variant, and description Current quantities in the bins Detailed item tracking information (if available)
