- Faster creation of shipping and pick documents using reusable filters.
- Traceable transport handling with carrier handoff and delivery details.
- Better visibility of cumulative quantities and in-transit quantities.
Functional Focus
Delivery call-offs from blanket orders
You use document call-offs and delivery call-offs when customers continuously update required quantities and dates. The system keeps references, unloading points, and item-related data aligned for downstream processing. Before release, also review the quantity type, date type, and planning type on the call-off lines.
Dispatch control for operational selection
Dispatch control lets you define filter logic and generate actionable line lists. Based on this list, users can create documents, create picks, or trigger posting steps. Overdue, due-today, and stock-critical lines are highlighted for prioritization.
Transport handling after shipment
Posted shipment data can be grouped into transport documents. In daily operations, this is where users maintain transport mode, carrier handoff timing, delivery timing, and shipment-related notes. Consignment withdrawals and their replenishment are handled in the matching warehouse and transport context.
Additional fields for automotive scenarios
Controlled Sales Core extends standard areas such as sales orders, blanket orders, and shipment-related processes. This keeps customer-specific and transport-relevant details visible in operational pages.
App composition and integration boundaries
Controlled Sales Core provides the business foundation for call-off, dispatch, and transport logic. Depending on the process, additional apps are used:
- BE-terna Connector HUM CSC connects Controlled Sales Core with Handling Unit Management and uses packaging data in CSC-related processes.
- BE-terna Connector CSC EDI provides the EDI projection for CSC processes, including delivery call-off and transport data.
- Handling Unit Management remains responsible for the neutral packaging structure. VDA- or EDI-specific terms and projections belong to the respective connectors.
The connectors are separate apps and are not part of the CSC core. When setting up a target process, check which app is installed and configured in the environment.
