DATANORM
In the DATANORM area in the BE-terna Project facility, the following items are listed: Facility, discount groups, and product groups.
Setup
After clicking on “Setup”, you will be taken to the DATANORM facility.

| Fehlende Mengeneinheiten importieren | Wenn nicht angehakt, können noch nicht in den Stammdaten hinterlegte Mengeneinheiten vor dem DATANORM-Import als Variante einer Mengeneinheit eingetragen werden. Wenn angehakt, ist dieses Vorgehen nicht verfügbar und die neue Mengeneinheit wird einem Artikel nur hinzugefügt. |

Regarding the filters, it must be mentioned that if they are activated, certain discount or product groups or all of them must be selected. Otherwise, no costing items are imported.
Discount groups
All discount groups are displayed here. These are usually imported during DATANORM import and are provided by the supplier. You can also create the discount group manually via the “New” button. Discount groups are used to group or group discounts.
Discount groups describe the affiliation to a group of items that all receive a discount (single or staggered) for customers and suppliers with a discount class or individual discount class assigned there. Discount groups are set up separately for buying and selling.
Product groups
All product groups are displayed here. These are usually read in during the DATANORM import and are provided by the supplier. You can also create a product group manually using the “New” button.
A product group is the combination of individual articles into a group on the basis of a common characteristic. The following can be considered as connecting characteristics: origin, intended use and properties of the manufacturing material.
