POS Process

Describes archived POS processes with general data, cash movements, and turnover values in POS Core.

Under Archive → POS Process you can see when a POS process was started and ended and which turnover was generated with it.

Using the POS Process Card, you can view the turnover and income of the POS process and also trace them in detail.

General

Field Description
Location The location code of the respective cash register setup
Cash Register The cash register code of the respective cash register setup
No. The number of the selected POS process
Finished Marks the POS process as completed
Start Time The time at which the POS process was started
End Time The time at which the POS process was ended
Cashier Code Indicates the cashier code that originally started the POS process
Cashier Name Indicates the cashier name that originally started the POS process

Cash Movement

Field Description
Opening Amount Contains the cash balance that was counted and entered at cash register start
Closing Amount Contains the cash balance that was counted and entered at cash register closing
Cash Float Stores the cash float of the respective cash register setup at the time of cash register closing
Final Cash to Bank Indicates the cash amount that was removed from the cash drawer at cash register closing
Carry Forward Change Indicates the cash amount expected at the next cash register start and is calculated from the difference between Closing Amount and Final Cash to Bank

Turnover

This tab contains information on turnover, income, and cash account book actions. For each cash register setup, the values of the current POS process are compared with those of the current day.

Turnover

Field Description
Total Contains the sum of all sales
Items Contains the sum of all item sales
Resources Contains the sum of all resource sales
Other Contains the sum of all other sales, for example vouchers

Income

Field Description
Total Contains the sum of all income
Cash Contains the sum of all cash income
Card Contains the sum of all card income
Invoice Contains the sum of all invoice income
Other Contains the sum of all other income, for example vouchers

Cash Account Book

Field Description
Total Contains the sum of all cash account book transactions
Deposit Contains the sum of all deposits
Payout Contains the sum of all payouts
Cash to Bank Contains the sum of all cash-to-bank transactions, including the final cash-to-bank posting
