Using a distribution, quantities per colour-size combination are distributed to the stores, meaning locations, according to certain criteria, for example for an initial allocation.

There are three ways to use this function:

  • from inventory
  • from the purchase order line
  • from the line of the posted goods receipt

LSD-0010 - Create document header

The item distribution must be created and the corresponding distribution type selected. Three distribution types are available for selection: from inventory, from a purchase order, or from a goods receipt, per posted goods receipt document. In addition, the item to be distributed must be selected and the distribution option defined. The following options are available for selection: quantity proposal, which is created individually by the user and in that case the number of quantity proposal lines must also be specified, pack unit, lots, weighting, individual quantities, buyer-specific possible. In addition, it can be determined what percentage share is to be distributed; the remainder will remain in the warehouse, for example.

Incoming processes:

LSD-0020 - Create distribution

The function ‘Create New Distribution’ must be executed. Based on the selected distribution option, a distribution proposal is generated.

LSD-0030 - Modify distribution

Depending on the selected distribution option, the created distribution can be modified. Remaining quantities can be split using the function ‘Distribute Remainders’. During distribution, it can be selected whether the stores are to be supplied directly by means of the flag in the ‘Direct Delivery’ column.

LSD-0040 - Save distribution

Once the quantities have been distributed completely, the distribution can be completed with the function ‘Save’.

LSD-0050 - Create order

If the stores in the lines have set a flag in the ‘Direct delivery’ column and the distribution has been saved, a direct order is created with the vendor, meaning a direct delivery or a separate purchase order on the selected store. Using the function ‘Save (Create Transfer Order)’, a corresponding document is created in logistics for the distribution type ‘Inventory’. The distribution list can be provided using the function ‘Print Distribution List’.

LSD-POP-0010 - Create document header

On a created purchase order, a distribution can be stored. The function ‘Store Distribution’ calls up an item distribution overview in which all items are shown as colour-size combinations in individual lines. A distribution can be created for each item by selecting the function ‘Edit’. The distribution type ‘Purchase’ is prefilled. The distribution option quantity proposal, pack unit, or weighting is selected.

Incoming processes:

LSD-POP-0020 - Create distribution

The function ‘Create New Distribution’ must be executed, which creates the lines of the distribution.

LSD-POP-0030 - Modify distribution

Depending on the selected distribution option, the created distribution can be modified. Remaining quantities can be split using the function ‘Distribute Remainders’. During distribution, it can be selected whether the stores are to be supplied directly by means of the flag in the ‘Direct Delivery’ column.

LSD-POP-0040 - Save distribution

Once the quantities have been distributed completely, the distribution can be completed by the user saving the document.

LSD-POP-0050 - Create order

If the stores in the lines have set a flag in the ‘Direct delivery’ column, a direct order is created with the vendor. The distribution list can be provided using the function ‘Print Distribution List’.

LSD-PUR-0010 - Create document header

In the posted goods receipt document, item distribution can be created using the function ‘Store Distribution’. The distribution type ‘Goods Receipt’ as well as the item with the corresponding location from the goods receipt and the colour-size combination posted there are taken from the document. The distribution option quantity proposal, pack unit, or weighting is selected.

Incoming processes:

LSD-PUR-0020 - Create distribution

The function ‘Create New Distribution’ must be executed.

LSD-PUR-0030 - Modify distribution

Depending on the selected distribution option, the created distribution can be modified. Remaining quantities can be split using the function ‘Distribute Remainders’.

LSD-PUR-0040 - Save distribution

Once the quantities have been distributed completely, the distribution can be completed by executing the function ‘Save’.

LSD-PUR-0050 - Create order

The distribution list can be provided using the function ‘Print Distribution List’.

LSD-STK-0010 - Create document header

The item distribution must be created and the distribution type ‘Inventory’ selected. The item is selected based on the item number from the drop-down menu. Additional filters such as location from which the inventory is to be distributed, as well as colours and sizes, are defined. Based on the selected distribution option, a distribution proposal is generated in the next step. The following options are available for selection: quantity proposal, pack unit, lots, weighting, individual quantities. In addition, it is determined what percentage share is to be distributed; the remainder remains in the warehouse.

LSD-STK-0020 - Create distribution

The function ‘Create New Distribution’ must be executed.

LSD-STK-0030 - Modify distribution

Depending on the selected distribution option, the created distribution can be modified. Remaining quantities can be split using the function ‘Distribute Remainders’.

LSD-STK-0040 - Save distribution

Once the quantities have been distributed completely, the distribution can be completed by saving the document with the function ‘Save (Create Transfer Order)’.

LSD-STK-0050 - Create order

From the item distribution, a transfer order is created for logistics each time the document is saved. The distribution list can be provided using the function ‘Print Distribution List’.
