Milestones

Purpose

Milestones summarize schedule, value, and hour information for a project within a defined period. You can open them from the project card, project list, and project document editor.

Create a milestone

Enter:

• Code
• Description
• Start date
• End date

The application calculates the current milestone values when you open the list or card.

Analysis

The list shows:

• Total expected purchase and sales amounts
• Total actual purchase and sales amounts
• Expected purchase and sales hours
• Actual purchase and sales hours

You can drill down from hour values and actual sales values to the underlying entries.

A time recording entry can also be assigned to a milestone.
