Cash Register Start

The POS start is initiated using the Start button.

First, the cashier must identify themselves by entering the relevant cashier code.

If the cashier code is not known, it can be searched for and selected using the magnifying glass button.

If a password has been stored for the cashier, it is then requested in the input field.

Sales

The sales mode of the cash register opens with the Sales button after cashier login.

If the cash register is set up accordingly, a salesperson must be entered before every receipt.

After entering the salesperson number, the POS program is in sales mode.

For the sales transaction, the barcode can either be scanned or entered manually if the scanner is not working.

Functions

The Functions menu is available during checkout in every state and provides several generally applicable options.

Back to Sales

This function takes you back to sales mode at any time, provided that no actions have already been performed that make this impossible, such as payments that have already been posted or cashbook actions.

If the function is not possible for the reasons already mentioned, a corresponding information message appears.

Demoscopic Query

If Demoscopic Queries are set up and Assigned, the query appears as soon as the sales receipt has been completed.

Cash Account Book

If you are in sales mode, the Cash Account Book functionality is available under Receipt Type.

Deposit

Use the Deposit button to post cash amounts into the POS.

First, enter the reason for the deposit. This can be done using the code, the configured shortcut buttons, or the magnifying glass button.

Cash Register Closing

To perform a POS closing, you must first be on an empty receipt and then initiate it via Receipt Type -> POS Closing.

If the following prompt is confirmed with Yes, the process for carrying out a closing is started.

Cash Revenue Registration

After that, based on the corresponding setting in the POS setup, there are initially two ways to enter the cash revenue: either as a denomination or as a total amount.
