Batch processing setup
Batch processing allows picking proposals to be created, allocated, and — depending on the configuration — warehouse shipments to be generated automatically based on predefined templates. The setup is located at:
Navigation: Use the search function and enter Picking Proposal Batch Processing Setup.
Fields (General tab)

| Code | Unique key for the template. Use a meaningful code to identify the template quickly. |
| Description | Free-text description of the template. |
| Active | Controls whether the template is included in batch processing runs. Inactive templates are skipped. |
| Type of processing | Defines the level of automation: suggest allocation only, suggest allocation and create warehouse shipment, or suggest allocation, create and release warehouse shipment. |
| Next Document Date | The date on which the template will next be executed. |
| Last version | Timestamp of the last batch processing run. Read-only, set automatically. |
| Interval | Defines the execution interval, e.g. daily or weekly. |
| Create WS for orders from % threshold | Minimum allocation rate in percent above which warehouse shipments are created for an order. Orders below this value are not given a warehouse shipment. |
| Item color threshold delivery at % | Threshold for item color delivery in percent. Colors that do not reach this value are excluded from warehouse shipment creation. |
| Order | Execution order when multiple templates are scheduled for the same weekday. Lower values are processed first. |
Filters and defaults
In the Filter tab of the template, you define which sales orders are included in batch processing. All filters are optional; filters that are not set do not restrict the selection.

| Ship-to address (country) | Restricts the preselection to a specific delivery country. |
| Shipping agent | Restricts the preselection to a specific shipping agent. |
| Shipping agent service | Restricts the preselection to a specific transport service of the shipping agent. |
| Shipment method | Restricts the preselection to a specific shipment method. |
| Shipment date | Date filter for the goods issue date. Only orders within the specified period are considered. |
| Currency | Restricts the preselection to a specific currency. |
Automation
Day of processing
In the Execution Date tab, you define on which weekday the template is automatically executed. This allows recurring picking proposals to be scheduled for specific days of the week without manual intervention.
Order when multiple templates run on the same day
The Order field defines the sequence in which batch processing setups are automatically executed — particularly relevant when multiple templates are active for the same day. Processing follows ascending order based on the entered value: a setup with value 1 is executed first, followed by 2, 3, and so on. Only active setups are taken into account.
Threshold for warehouse shipment creation
The Create WS for orders from % threshold field controls from which allocation rate warehouse shipments are automatically created. Orders where the allocable share falls below the configured percentage are included in the allocation but do not receive a warehouse shipment. This prevents warehouse shipments from being generated for orders with a very low fulfillment rate.
