Release notes for Fashion Core version 28.4.0.

Overview

With version 28.4.0, BE-terna Fashion improves the role-based user interface, warehouse and purchasing processes, as well as the management of translations and documents. Users will increasingly see lists and functions tailored to their permissions. In addition, warehouse processes have been made clearer and the processing of purchase components has been extended.

Translations for units

The unit list now shows how many translations exist for a unit. From there, the related translation details can be opened directly.

Purchasing

Extended processing of purchase components

The processing of purchase components has been extended. Posting information as well as quantity and transfer information are stored in a way that is easier to trace.

If the setup provides for it, transfers for purchase components can also be carried out directly and without an additional warehouse process.

Improvements & optimizations

User interface and permissions

The visibility of list elements is aligned more closely with the permissions of the respective user. Functions and content that are not available are hidden, making the interface clearer.

Sales

The validation of the order type variant now takes place as soon as the first sales line is inserted. This gives users earlier feedback if the selected combination is not allowed.

Warehouse & logistics

The page for warehouse receipt entry has been revised. Fields and actions are grouped more clearly, help texts have been improved, and the name of the vendor or customer is now shown as well.

Additional help texts and translations for warehouse, parcel, and mobile picking processes have been revised to make operation easier to understand.

The Picks per bin view has been technically adjusted to improve behavior and stability.

Bug fixes

Purchasing and inventory valuation

The calculation of component costs has been corrected. Component costs are now taken into account according to the configured inventory outbound method.

Some internal pages that are used only within specific processes have been removed from search and navigation. This prevents users from being directed to pages that are not intended to be opened directly.

Technical improvements

The shipping labels functionality has been moved to a separate connector app. Existing functions remain available for the time being, but will gradually be replaced by the new solution.

In addition, technical extension points have been added and obsolete functions that are no longer needed have been prepared for later removal.
