Meta Process
The master data management process cannot be viewed separately; rather, the individual instances belong to the corresponding subprojects. These instances are therefore handled here and are functionally assigned to the master data area.

Instances
MDA-CON - Contact Master Data Management
Contacts are created by sales or field sales. They are used to record people and companies with whom no business relationship yet exists. After further classification, contacts can be processed further into customers and vendors.
A new master data record is created in the system or an existing one is supplemented or changed. The responsible salesperson or representative is assigned, the contact data for the person or company is recorded, where possible the person is assigned to a company, and form of address, position, and language are defined. In addition, the profile questionnaire is completed.
MDA-CUS - Customer Master Data Management
Management of customer master data records for the purpose of handling financial accounting and merchandise management business processes. However, the standard process for creating the customer runs through the contact -> customer process chain when business processes take place. Creation can be triggered from different processes. On the one hand from financial accounting as a new personal account, and on the other hand from merchandise management to map the customer structure with assignment to headquarters, branch, and bill-to party. The customer is created manually or generated from CRM via the contact and sales opportunity.
MDA-AGT - Sales Representative/Seller Master Data Management
Mapping commercial agents in the system forms the basis for later entry of orders, quotes, and further sales functions. The representatives are therefore assigned to customers and, if required, a commission is stored for the representative and calculated at sales order line level.
Classification
These instances belong functionally to the Master Data area. They provide contact, customer, and representative master data used in Fashion Core sales processes.
