This process describes the capture and control of sample parts with regard to the specification from the measurement charts transmitted to production. In product monitoring, it is possible to carry out a capture for each sample process (for example sample order). This (sample) measurement chart can be evaluated across all sizes. The control measurements are carried out iteratively. Finally, the result of all controls can be monitored and viewed in relation to the measurement charts.
MPM-0010 Select model
In the “Models” view, the model is selected for whose sample part a control measurement is to be created or carried out.

MPM-0020 Create product monitoring measurement chart
The “Product Monitoring Measurement Chart” is created and opened from the model via a function. The basis is the measurement point definition (analogous to the measurement chart at item-size-range level). The released measurement chart is stored in the monitoring.
MPM-0030 Edit header data
If the control is carried out on the basis of a specific measurement chart (old/historical version), this measurement chart can be selected after a new product monitoring record has been created. By specifying the reference size, the evaluation view can be switched at line level.
MPM-0040 Start new capture
Using the “New Capture” function opens a new document for capturing the control data. In the document header, the sent sample type must be selected.
MPM-0050 Perform control measurement
For each measurement point, the control measurement is entered in the respective size. The system automatically calculates the deviation from the specified measurement chart and displays it as a difference. The reference quantities can be shown or hidden. The highlighting of the differences depends on the tolerance defined in the measurement chart. If no explicit tolerance is specified, the system independently determines a tolerance from the average deviation of the measurement point between the measured sizes.
MPM-0060 Monitor results
The differences can be monitored in the product development measurement chart. By changing the grading reference size in the monitoring header, the corresponding measurement results are displayed in the lines.
MPM-0070 Release product monitoring measurement chart
After the control measurements have been completed, the product monitoring measurement chart is released.
