MDA-PDM - Item-Related Master Data Management

The master data management process cannot be viewed separately; instead, the individual instances belong to the corresponding subprojects. Therefore, these instances are handled here and are linked with the meta process MDA - Master Data Management.

Further master data from the PDM area can include the collection as well as the theme.

MDA-ITM - Master Data Management for Items

The management of items/models for merchandise management processes such as merchandise control, item categorization, item valuation, and many more takes place in the ERP system. Descriptive, categorizing, and valuating characteristics can be stored on the item. These characteristics serve later evaluability and transparency of downstream merchandise management processes. The following characteristics can be stored: classification into an item hierarchy, assignment of fashion dimensions to the item via classification into a product group, prices, procurement characteristics, characteristics for foreign trade, inventory characteristics, etc..

MDA-CLR - Master Data Management for Colors

Colors are managed in the ERP system. Various colors can be assigned to an item. Additional information can also be stored on the item color, such as assignment to the supplier/vendor color, type of replenishment including quantity, customs tariff number, and statistical color.

MDA-SIR - Master Data Management for Size Ranges

Size ranges are managed in the ERP system. A size range can contain various sizes, which can be given a sorting order. The assignment of a size range to a group is particularly important in the area of trouser size ranges for better entry of individual sizes across several size ranges. Several size ranges can be assigned to an item.

MDA-SIZ - Master Data Management for Sizes

Sizes are managed in the ERP system. The bracket and one or more sizes are defined by the size range. The assignment of sizes to an item takes place in the variant expression. Not all sizes of a size range are automatically created in connection with an item. The expression consisting of item/color/size range and size results in the item variant (SKU).

MDA-BRA - Master Data Management for Brands

In BE-Fashion, one item can be assigned to exactly one brand. A brand, in turn, can be assigned to several suppliers/producers. The brand can be marked as a private label.

MDA-SEA - Master Data Management for Seasons

For a season, season indicator, period, comparison season, and write-down % are defined. In BE-Fashion, seasons are defined by a code, a description, and a start and end date. A season indicator can be used to define the season type spring-summer/autumn-winter/year-round.

MDA-FAS - Master Data Management for Fashion Dimensions

For further structuring and evaluability of item master and transaction data, ten freely definable fashion dimensions (FDim) can be used in BE-Fashion. These serve to represent further item properties such as sleeve length, fit, pattern, and many more.

MDA-MAT - Master Data Management for Material Composition

The material or component composition stores which components a material consists of.
