Item creation in the PDM / product development area.

ACR - Item Creation

The management of items/models for merchandise management processes such as merchandise control, item categorization, item valuation, and many more takes place in the ERP system. Descriptive, categorizing, and valuating characteristics can be stored on the item. These characteristics serve later evaluability and transparency of downstream merchandise management processes. The following characteristics can be stored: classification into an item hierarchy, assignment of fashion dimensions to the item via classification into a product group, prices, procurement characteristics, characteristics for foreign trade, inventory characteristics, etc..

ACR-0010 Create/extend item

An item is created with the mandatory fields. New colors can also be added to an existing item.

ACR-0020 Edit item variants

In this step, new colors/sizes/size ranges can be created for an existing item or copied from the same item. This creates new item variants (SKUs).

ACR-0030 Maintain item data

All relevant data for the item is recorded. The data includes, in particular, the attributes, measurement charts, and item properties. QA data can be added, such as care symbols, care instructions, and material composition.

ACR-0040 Release item

After all work on the item in design/procurement has been completed in the current company, the item is released for relevant additional companies.

ACR-MAN-0010 Create/extend item

An item is created with the mandatory fields. New colors can also be added to an existing item.

Incoming process:

  • MDA - Master Data Management

ACR-MAN-0020 Edit item variants

In this step, new colors/sizes/size ranges can be created for an existing item or copied from the same item. This creates new item variants (SKUs).

Outgoing process:

ACR-MAN-0030 Maintain item data

In this process, item creation is generated from the PRICAT EDI message type.

ACR-EDI-0010 Create/extend item

The PRICAT sends all data for the item, through which it is created or changed.

Incoming process:

  • EIP - EDI-IN-PRICAT

ACR-EDI-0020 Edit item variants

New item variants can arise if new colors/sizes/size ranges are created for an existing item.

ACR-EDI-0030 Maintain item data

All relevant data for the item is transferred.

ACR-EDI-0040 Release item

The item can now be released for the relevant companies.
