The picking of goods issues can be carried out on the basis of printed picking slips or supported by mobile devices. The picking transaction is performed manually and is realized in the system by manually increasing quantities or scanning via mobile data capture devices. Picking is carried out on the basis of shelves (non-inventory-managed bins) or bins in logistics.

WPI-0010 - Create picking

The picking document is opened from the goods issue document. The data is automatically transferred to the picking document. The picking document is sorted by the bins/shelf compartments and assigned to the executing warehouse employee.

Incoming processes:

WPI-0020 - Select picking

The picking document header is selected and assigned to a user ID.

WPI-0030 - Physical goods movement

The warehouse employee performs the physical goods movement according to the picking document. When using a mobile device, the quantities to be sorted can be displayed at SKU level.

WPI-0040 - Capture line data

The movement quantities are captured in the picking document. New lines can be inserted using the function “Split line”. This function is used when an item cannot be completely removed or stored according to the proposal. The warehouse employee can split a line with the action type “Warehouse removal” or “Put-away” into several lines.
