The process describes the capture of inventory quantities. Capture can be performed manually by document or by MDE.
ICO-0010 - Select source document
The created source document is selected and a new inventory capture document is created. The source document originated from inventory date planning or EDI import.
Incoming processes:
ICO-0020 - Capture items
The counted items are captured into the capture document. Capture can take place using external MDEs (offline - not standard), by mobile data capture, by handheld scanner in the document, or by manual entry.
ICO-0030 - Determine inventory quantity
The counted quantity is entered. In the case of scanning, this occurs automatically. The inventory quantities are netted for one SKU in the result, i.e. several positions with the same SKU are possible. The counting result is obtained from the addition of the positions. Negative quantities are also possible if correction scans/captures have been performed. In total, the count result must be >= 0.
ICO-0040 - Complete inventory
The quantities are uploaded into the system, checked there, and confirmed. Counts for an inventory order can be realized by one or several captures. After an inventory capture has been completely carried out and completed by the user who captured it, it has the status ‘Completed’.

The process describes the manual creation of an inventory capture for an inventory order.
ICO-INO-0010 - Select source document
The inventory order is selected.
Incoming processes:
ICO-INO-0020 - Capture items
An existing inventory capture is opened or a new inventory capture is created. This is done either by inserting a new count document or by calling the function to create a new capture. As standard, it is possible to transfer the expected positions (without quantity specification) into the capture. The item is scanned or entered manually in the positions.
ICO-INO-0030 - Determine inventory quantity
The counted quantity is entered. The inventory quantities are netted for one SKU in the result when transferred into the inventory order, i.e. several lines with the same SKU are possible. The counting result is obtained from the addition of the positions. Negative quantities are also possible if correction scans/captures have been performed. In total, the count result must be >= 0.
ICO-INO-0040 - Complete inventory
After counting, the inventory capture must be completed in terms of status. Counts for an inventory order can be realized by one or several captures. After an inventory capture has been completely carried out and completed by the user who captured it, it receives the status ‘Completed’.

The inventory order is selected on the MDE.

The counted quantity is automatically increased when the item is scanned. The inventory quantities are netted for one SKU in the result, i.e. several lines with the same SKU are possible. The counting result is obtained from the addition of the positions. Negative quantities are also possible if correction scans have been performed. In total, the count result must be >= 0.
ICO-MDE-0040 - Complete inventory
Counts for an inventory order can be realized by one or several captures. After an inventory capture has been completely carried out and completed by the user who captured it, it leads to the status ‘Completed’.

In bin-managed warehouse locations, rolling inventories can be carried out. These can also take place during ongoing operations. The difference quantities are posted to a balancing bin before they are transferred into the inventory journal.
ICO-MLG-0020 - Capture items
The bin to be inventoried is selected or scanned by means of an MDE. Then the item is scanned or the bin is reported empty if no item can be physically found in the bin.
ICO-MLG-0030 - Determine inventory quantity
The items are captured individually by scanning or by a quantity factor, which must be changed manually beforehand.
ICO-MLG-0040 - Complete inventory
The capture is ultimately confirmed or rejected per bin. When rejected, the captured quantities are reset and the inventory count for the bin can begin again. When the inventory is registered, the difference posting takes place via the balancing bin. For a bin-managed warehouse location, the quantities of the balancing bin can be transferred into the inventory journal. This results in the target quantities, actual quantities, and difference quantities.

The count results are noted on a count list.
ICO-IWS-0040 - Complete inventory
The counted quantities are transferred back from the count list into the inventory journal. For a bin-managed warehouse location, the quantities of the balancing bin can be transferred into the inventory journal by function. This results in the target quantities, actual quantities, and difference quantities.
