Season
In BE-Fashion, seasons are defined by a code, a description, and a start and end date. A season indicator can be used to define the season type spring-summer/autumn-winter/year-round. The comparison season can be used to define which season the planning and evaluation should initially refer to. In the Aging Order column, the order for the partial write-down can be defined.
Several seasons can be assigned to the item colors (color seasons). The color seasons are checked in the sales orders for the “Pre-Order” order type.
Storage Location
The program supports multiple warehouses. Storage locations are inventory-managing units. These can be real warehouses, such as the central warehouse, the sample warehouse, as well as virtual warehouses. Virtual storage locations are needed for “goods in transit” as transit warehouses or to represent direct delivery processes. These are goods that are on the way from the producer and for which the transfer of risk has occurred.
The inventory-separating criteria are:
- Storage location
- Bin (for warehouses that are managed with bins)
- Item
- Item variant (color, size range, size)
If a storage location is managed with bins, item movements must be scanned. To keep physical inventory identical to system inventory, scans must be performed online in the system. In a bin-managed warehouse, an SKU can be located in several bins. Likewise, several different SKUs can be managed in one bin.

Location Attribute
Location attributes can be used to store additional evaluable information on storage locations, e.g. the storage area, information on the type of warehouse, etc.
These attributes are organized in categories. A category can be assigned to each storage location, which then contains attributes to which specific values can be stored. The display of the values in the category is shown in the “Location Attribute Values” factbox.
