Notifications (Fashion)
Assign the Notifications email scenario and configure notification templates and Notification Use Setup.
Notes
- To send notifications by email, the following must be in place:
- an email address must be stored for the user in the user setup, and
- a sender account must be set up in BC (see Email Setup)
- using a notification template for processing notifications with automated task handling is described on the Job Queues page
- an error notification is only sent after the “Maximum No. of Attempts to Run” has been carried out
Assign the “Notifications” Email Scenario
For notifications to actually be sent, the corresponding “Notifications” email scenario must be assigned to the sender email account.
Steps:
- search for the “Email Account” overview via the search
- select the desired account and click the “Email Scenarios” action
- on the “Assign Email Scenarios” page, click the “Assign Scenarios” action
- select the “Notifications” entry from the list and confirm with “OK”
Notification Templates (“BET FN Notification Tmplt Hdr (5232610)”)
Notification templates can be created for notification settings, e.g. for job queue entries.
- open the “Notification Template Overview” page
- enter code and description
- switch to the card view of the notification template via “Process” → “Edit”
- store the recipient as “User ID” and “Recipient Type”
Notification Use Setup (“BET FN Notification Use Setup (5232612)”)
The “Notification Use Setup” table is used to define the use of a notification template.
