Process: Transport and shipment process Shipping order VDA4922:

Correct assignment of unloading points. The assignment of unloading points in the shipping order (Report 5042677, VDA4922 Version 3) has been corrected. For transports with multiple delivery notes from different automotive sales orders, unloading points are now output correctly in the intended sequence.

Booking error due to inconsistent assignment of delivery note to sales order (mixed pallets) fixed. When posting a goods issue, the error “Sales delivery header already exists” could sporadically occur. The cause was faulty synchronization logic for mixed pallets (Mixed Master): After building a mixed pallet from singles from multiple sales orders and subsequently deregistering/re-registering the handling unit assignment, a delivery note number could be assigned to the wrong sales order. Previously, affected records were handled in practice through manual SQL corrections. Synchronization now assigns delivery note numbers uniquely per sales order, so goods issue posting runs reliably.

Packaging units on two locations: post in and out from one location to another. Captured on the first location. Checks whether an MDE line for the packaging unit exists; the unit is then booked in and out during posting. Duplicate singles can be recorded.

Azure File Storage does not check folders from partner line. Fixed folder validation for partner line structures in Azure File Storage processing. The AzureFSListDirectory() procedure now correctly resolves partner-line message locations. Files in partner-specific folders are found and file URLs point to the correct partner-specific location instead of the root inbound folder.

Automotive Sales Order pages aligned with platform behavior. The Automotive Sales Order card and list pages have been updated to match current Business Central platform conventions. Improvements include corrected customer lookup behavior, additional statistics action for the sell-to customer, dynamic county caption based on country/region, job queue status drill-down, and updated German translations for captions, tooltips, and About texts on the sales order and related actions.

Dimension preservation in EDL warehouse shipment posting. Bug fix: Dimension values are now correctly transferred when converting warehouse shipments to transfer orders for EDL/consignment warehouses. This resolves validation errors when posting warehouse shipments with dimension-constrained items.

Address Line 2 in Goods Tag VDA4994 GTL VW A5. The dataset of Goods Tag VDA4994 GTL VW A5 now provides the second address line (Address 2), so downstream outputs and layouts can use complete address information.

Fix for unloading-point display in shipping order. In the shipping order, unloading points were displayed shifted by one position per document. The mapping was corrected so unloading points are now shown correctly for each document.

Fix for posting error caused by inconsistent Shipment/Source mapping (Mixed Master). Posting a Warehouse Shipment could sporadically fail with the error “Sales Shipment Header already exists.” The root cause was a faulty synchronization logic for Mixed Master pallets: after building a Mixed Master from singles of several sales orders and unregistering / re-registering the loading-equipment assignment, a Shipment No. could be mapped to the wrong source order. Until now, affected records were corrected manually via SQL. The synchronization now assigns Shipment Nos. uniquely per Source No., so Warehouse Shipment posting runs stably.

Data exchange

Correct import of from/to dates in delivery call-offs. Delivery call-off lines with a from/to date (VDA4938) were previously not interpreted as calendar week or month, but instead imported with date type “Date” and an empty date code. Because of the empty date code, multiple delivery call-off lines were aggregated. These lines are now imported with date type “Week from-to” and a matching date code is created, so the lines are no longer aggregated.

Stabilized weight calculation in transport header. Net and gross weight calculation in the transport header has been corrected. This ensures that weights in transport documents are consistent and traceable again.
Corrected VDA4922 shipping order for EDL/consignment. In report “Shipping Order VDA4922”, a filter by unloading point was removed in the EDL/consignment path where unloading point is not populated. This prevents the error “Im Filter wurde Folgendes nicht gefunden: Ladungsträger Summe” when creating/storing the shipping order.

Overview

Automotive 39.12 corrects gross-weight distribution for split Mixed Master packages in sales shipments.

Bug fixes

Gross weight for split Mixed Master packages

When a Mixed Master package contains packages from several sales shipments, gross weight is now distributed across all involved shipments. Previously, the weight could be assigned only to the first shipment while other shipments showed zero gross weight. The overall transport weight remains unchanged.

Notes

This change affects the BE-Automotive transport and sales-shipment process.
